During 2020-21’s ‘Great Pause’ Gavin’s own race for more revealed a fork in the road. A tantalising opportunity to road trip to a time before 'more' began.

Through lyrics, melodies and a drawer full of old songs from his music catalogue spanning 30 years, Gavin began assembling a new narrative. From past loves, losses, and long-forgotten lessons, the power of reflection brought a prism of fresh perspective and permission to just, play.

 

What crystallised for Gavin was that the sun on your face, sand in your hair, the first kiss, and the last time you risked it all, still mattered.
